		<description>hi Matt, thanks for the interest! I&#039;m currently reading De Young and Kluck&#039;s &#039;Why We&#039;re Not Emergent - by two guys who should be&#039;.  It does more than evaluate the Emergent church movement; it also takes in post-modernism although given what the Emergents are on about it kind of needs to do this. I&#039;d recommend it as a general-education kind of read. http://www.notemergent.com/

Have you read much &#039;pure&#039; theology? If not, any of Wayne Grudem&#039;s Systematic Theology texts (either the complete or abridged versions) would be meaty and wholesome.

There&#039;s 2 for now; feel free to be specific with categories! And if you can put me on the borrowing list for that Keller book, that would be great :)</description>

Was given it by a YFer and I hope to finish it and hand it off to another YFer before I head back to Canada for Christmas.  My non-academic book reading has been abysmal this year and I would love a few recommendations for some good holiday reading!</description>
