5:17 church

When Steve and I were in the USA recently, we learned a stack of great new songs at the Worship God 09 conference hosted by Sovereign Grace.  One of these songs could have been written just for our church because it too is based around the Bible verse, 2 Corinthians 5:17.  The song is on SG’s new Sons and Daughters album, and is called Completely Done. Here is the chorus:

With us at 5:17 church, the song celebrates the complete transformation Jesus works in our lives when he saves us; as Steve likes to say: the past no longer needs to govern our present nor our future.  This truly is a blessing and privilege isn’t it?? – and something we want to keep inviting others to experience.
